PSCA NOTES

2007 is off and running and by the number of shoots scheduled, it will be a very busy for all of us. The Sisler Family is very busy getting the State Championship ready for all of us to enjoy. They did a Great job in 2003 and we are looking at another coming up/

This year we have a Four Day shoot, giving those who like to shoot every event more time to do well, without rushing through the courses. The Sisler’s are throwing us a Party Saturday night to celebrate a couple of milestones for their family. (40 years of business and 20 years of Sporting Clays) With that in mind we will be holding the Annual meeting Friday night to allow everyone the time to relax and enjoy Saturday night’s festivities. Balloting for the 2009 State Shoot and Zones will again be by paper ballot and the results announced at the award presentation Sunday Evening. We encourage all clubs interested in hosting the 2009 State or Zone shoots to complete your application and forward to Rodger Becker.

A couple other key shoots for this year are:

Have you ever considered starting a SCTP team? SCTP stands for Scholastic Clays Target Program. Pennsylvania’s representation in this program is behind the rest of the nation. We need your help in starting a team at your club and helping us bring more youth into the sport. This year is the last that State Director Bill Biss - nscalevel3@aol.com - (717) 637-6344 can grandfather coaches for the program. Please contact him if you are interested.

Contact us if you have any questions.
